Your phone is your wallet, camera, map and diary, so when it breaks you notice straight away. Our London Road workshop repairs iPhones, Samsung Galaxy handsets, Google Pixels and most other Android phones, from cracked screens and weak batteries to charging faults and software trouble. Many jobs are done the same day.
FoneTech East Grinstead
Most of what comes across our bench is a phone. A new screen after a drop outside the station, a battery swap for a handset that’s two or three years old, a clean-out after a trip into the bath: we see it all, so we can usually tell you quickly what’s wrong. You’ll get the price before we start, and your phone back tested.
Our Expertise
iPhones and Samsung Galaxy phones make up most of our work, but we also repair Google Pixel, OnePlus, Motorola, Oppo and Xiaomi handsets. We stock parts for popular models and can order in for less common ones. If you have an older phone, it’s still worth asking: we’ll tell you whether parts exist and whether repairing it is sensible.
Phones tend to fail in familiar ways. Screens crack, batteries wear out, ports fill with pocket fluff and buttons stop clicking. Below are the problems we’re asked about most. If yours is different, bring it in anyway: explaining the symptoms at the counter is usually the quickest way to find out what’s going on.
Dropped it face-down? We fit new OLED and LCD screens for iPhone, Samsung and Pixel models, usually in around an hour, then check touch and brightness.
Went swimming by accident? Forget the bag of rice. Liquid damage treatment means opening and cleaning the board before corrosion spreads.
Charging twice a day? A fresh battery typically restores all-day use and can be fitted while you wait on London Road.
No bars when your friends have plenty? The antenna or SIM reader may be at fault; we’ll investigate the signal.
Power button sunk or volume stuck? We replace buttons and the cables behind them so every press registers again.
Callers sound far away? We clean or replace speakers, earpieces and microphones.
Every device that reaches our bench leaves it properly tested. Whether that’s a quick screen change or a painstaking recovery after a spill, you’ll know exactly what was done and why before you take it home.
Commuting, shopping or collecting the children, 41 London Road is easy to drop into. Bring your laptop, tablet or phone and we’ll take it from there.
FAQ
No, walk-ins are welcome. Booking online simply guarantees a slot and helps us have the right part ready.
Screen, battery and port repairs don't wipe your phone. It's still wise to back it up before any repair.
Yes. Qualifying repairs are covered by our 1-month repair warranty. If something we fitted fails in that time, bring it back.
Usually, as long as parts are still available. We'll check and advise whether it's worth it.
Not always. It could be the cable, the port, the battery or the charging chip, and we test each.
