Everything on this page is done in our own workshop at 41 London Road. Choose your device or the fault below to learn more, or just come in and tell us what happened: a cracked screen, a flat battery or something harder to pin down.
From last year's flagship to a trusty older handset, we mend phones of all ages. Screens, batteries, cameras and charging ports are our everyday work.
Children's iPads, work tablets and e-readers: cracked glass, tired batteries and charging trouble are all fixable, usually for much less than you'd expect.
MacBooks and Windows laptops brought back from spilled drinks, slow starts, failing batteries and broken hinges, plus keyboards with keys that have stopped working.
Knocked your Apple Watch on a door frame? Cracked watch faces and worn batteries can be replaced without sending anything away.
Many people come in knowing only that “it’s stopped working”. That’s our cue to investigate. We’ll test the phone, tablet or laptop, find the actual fault and tell you plainly what it’ll take to fix.
Our Expertise
Whether it’s a shattered display or a stubborn software fault, you’re dealing with technicians who handle Apple, Samsung, Google, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Asus, Huawei and Xiaomi devices every week, just a short walk from the station.
From a small chip in the corner to a display that’s gone completely black, we fit a correct replacement and check brightness, touch and colour before handing it back.
Wet devices need opening and cleaning quickly, before corrosion spreads. Our liquid damage service gives drowned phones, tablets and laptops their best chance of recovery.
If you’re charging more than once a day, the battery is probably worn. A new battery is one of the cheapest ways to get a few more good years from a device.
When a phone says “No Service” but everyone else has bars, the antenna or SIM reader is often to blame. We track down signal faults and fix them.
Power and volume buttons take thousands of presses. When one sticks or stops responding, we repair the button or the thin cable behind it.
If voices sound distant or music crackles, the speaker, earpiece or microphone may need attention. We find which part has failed, whether that’s a blocked grille or a worn unit, and our speaker repairs restore clear, full sound.
Every device that reaches our bench leaves it properly tested. Whether that’s a quick screen change or a painstaking recovery after a spill, you’ll know exactly what was done and why before you take it home.
Commuting, shopping or collecting the children, 41 London Road is easy to drop into. Bring your laptop, tablet or phone and we’ll take it from there.
